and back tracked until I found my first post in here.
It's kind of like going back in time.
Fond memories and a few former usernames floating around then.
I like Macs comment about me leaving my paddle at the door ( in reference to me coming from the darkside).
I don't post as much these days but the Greenroom will always be a special place.

my memory isn't great, but I do know that back then, when it came to buying boards, I slavishly followed trends, thinking "if it worked for them, it must work for me".

I now know I need to find what's right for me, not for others.

I wish I could remember the name of the person who told me to get rid of my side fins when I complained that I could not catch waves very well. Single (no pun intended) best bit of advice I've ever been given, I don't think I've ever ridden a multi fin board since that day.

Hey Obct, While we are all tripping down memory lane, it looks like you had a light bulb moment in early 2010 thanks to P co (but this may not be time you are referring to):

There sure is plenty of wisdom (and other stuff) in the Breeze archives.

I can't believe I've been here almost 7 years.

The only encouraging aspect of that is, at under 3000 posts in total, I may not be as big a looser as I could have been.

I've got to get a life
