Can anyone tell who makes Oceantech surfboards? I have ended up with a new 9'2" longboard (helping out a mate financially) I cant find any information on them, are they any good? Looks like im about to learn how to surf!

As a learner you will probably be fine - depending on dims, your body weight / shape / experience / location /attitude / general fitness / stickability........so many variables - of which the board is just one of them. Most people love to blame the board though as its easier - just like a traddie blaming his tools Just get a whole quiver so that there is one less element to blame. Good luck out there.

As long as you are a semi fit 91 you will be fine. Enjoy - make sure you read up on surf etiquette before you hit the line up.
