A friend is flying into Noosa from Canada tomorrow for a vacation before he comes to Adelaide for the wedding. Good timing huh.

Does anyone know how bad its going to be up there. He doesnt mind if it rains while he surfs and can he surf or will it be too nasty ??

Any recommendations of things he can do up there while its pissing down. I feel bad so if I can tell him a few things to do he may have a bit more fun.

they are getting crazy nice waves atm...or so the sandwich shop owner was telling me. if not there are plenty off nice overpriced places to eat.

When the weather is crap back home in the summer we ride mtn bikes and perfect our outdoor and in the winter we ski and perfect our hydro!

I enjoyed the glasshouse mountains when I was round that way, Canada has some awesome mountains. But if your into that kinda thing (like I am) its pretty cool. The Steve Irwin crocodile farm is on the way if I remember right. There's a go cart racing place which is fun & that pub from the cartoon, forget whats its called. But just laugh at it as you drive past, don't go in, its overpriced...You can grab some fresh strawberries along the same road most of this stuff is on as well.

Heaps for him to do really if you don't mind going for a bit of a cruisy drive. I recommend the trip advisor phone app, has heaps of ideas & info for places when they go there...but we passed through there about 7 years ago & just got all the info from tourist brochures
