Nice looking board but like other sup brands I load the massive logos, bark, fanatic and starboard are a few.Not knocking any of them but they would all look better with less imo.

Because I was sure I had seen Mac with a massive big M logo on one of his boards ( along time ago i admit)

But then I read the other one.......jeepers. Not a good scene. Not sure how I would react in that situation today....the old boys at Raglan used to punch peoples fins out if they got in the way. I hate confrontation so would probably just leave and then chase him down for some cashola a few days later after he settled down to fix things. I would definitely be leaving the water......I imagine a part of me would want to take off outside and line him up and just miss him on purpose to let him know that I had complete control and he should be aware of that!

It would be good to get the other side before he is totally condemned you are right - but its worthy of a read I think and drawing peoples attention to it. If people can read that and see what unreasonable behaviour looks like then maybe they too can stop behaving like idiots. Surfing has always been about fun and escaping for me. When its busy or a slightly aggressive person is in the water I either paddle somewhere else or go home and wait for another day. its a shame he never got the chances irrespective of what he was riding. Even though we have no other info on what had been going on I just do not condemn violence or damage to others peoples personal property on purpose. There are other ways to deal with situations.

I remember pics of him ripping Winki published in mags back in the 80's...I'd like to hear his side of the story & I suspect it might be a last straw type deal. Something minor that guy might have done that was the last straw for GB. I know there are times at my local where the numbers of 666'ers make it so that just 1 of them x the rest of them can piss me off & I have to take my LB out in SB conditions. Personally I feel that unless you have some shoulder or back injury, there's no excuse for riding 666'ers unless waves are under waist height. I have a few friends that are cool on them, but the majority think they rip coz of their wave count. But they're just shoulder chasing the whole wave, total waste. I often take off after they've passed & they don't even know I'm there...

We'll I think it stinks putting someone's number up. A witch hunt has started with only one side of the story being told. I had a big run in with kooks on 666's last week that almost ended in punches. Some people are just ****wits. I won't rant on. Yet I do find it peculiar this bloke did not go to the police to press charges, just comes out on the Breeze to openly lynch someone instead.
And to the knob who put the blokes number just wants fuel on the fire.

I have no idea about the subject matter of this thread....yet....I'll go and have a read to figure it out.
But funny thing about taking off behind others and them not even knowing you're there.
Sometimes I ride a 4'2" fibreglass bellyboard.
If I surf it at my local point there's plenty of waves where guys on longboards go by so far out on the shoulder that I can spin around as they pass me and take off behind them.
Then just sit right in the pocket, nice and quiet like, with no interference to their wave whatsoever and they don't even know I'm there.
Btw I do know who I can sneak these on and I'm ready to flick off or pull through the back of the wave if they do actually cutback so there's no harm, no foul!
Now I'm off to go and see what all the fuss is about.

I don't ride a 666 much now ,but will say they should all try proning with 666s in the water it opens your eyes a bit The other thing is if on a 666 people only see you do the bad stuff , no body yells out thanks for letting sets go through

We haven't seen drama in the 666 room for a long time.
Hope he's got the right bloke.
Could be very embarrassing if not.

I've never been a fan of cross forum quoting,no problem as Ted did to alert others of a good topic but quoting Simondo's post on a surf shop closing down and for some guy to post it up in the current threat is not good form. How does that sit with Simondo I wouldn't be happy.
