I started with a 9'6" epoxy longboard, and am now using an 8' cheap foam board.

I would like to get either an epoxy or fibreglass board that is a little shorter.

Question is, how short? 7' ? 7'6" Or stick with 8' ?

I surf in the Gold Coast, Qld. Am 33 years old, 185 cm tall, 90 kg.

Hi and welcome,I dont think anyone can answer your question without so more facts.

At what stage are at with surfing beginning?

Which do you want to ride? short or longboards?

First thing first, epoxy boards and polyurathane boards are both made with fibreglass. EIther way, if you want to ride a longboard stay with a board >9' otherwise..............you will be riding a shortboard.
