Properly not favourable with most in here just wonder if any one has heard of any one having problems have a friend that brought a 11' Micky Munoz , had some cracks appear after two surfs , then creased it 2' from the nose in knee high surf on the weekend . Bit of a shame it felt so light for it's size .

I had one of those in a 10'6 . Got 3 surftech barges and the construction although a bit on the heavier side these days is pretty strong . He must have got a lemon but then I've creased a 9 footer in 2 ft surf

Not sure if its the same construction, but i have a Surftech 7'4" Spade (Epoxy) anyway first surf i creased it. So i repaired it and glasses some 4oz glass ove rthe deck and now its better. I thought i was buying an old style Surftech that was like the hire boards in Hawaii. Anyway, it is so so light i would say 1 layer 4oz top and bottom.
good board but very disposible.
