I've just picked up a used VX World Cup 5.8. Overall in good condition (albeit with one repair, and with one luff pocket hole at a cam).
I was wondering if anyone could advise me on mast to use? .. and any tricks re getting mast into cams, and rigging in general.
I've never had a cam sail.
I want to use it with F2 Lightning World Cup Race board (which I'm fixing up, and haven't had on water yet).
I've got some old SDM masts (around 460; a one-piece fibreglass, and also a two piece carbon), and also some recent Severne Gorilla RDMs (400 and 430).
Any help greatly appreciated.
And if you're in Perth and can recommend someone to repair the luff pocket, or whether I could do it with sticky sail tape, that would be great too! :)
