I haven't caught up with rob yet because he smokes and I didn't want to put myself in that position.


I still haven't been pissed since the event one year ago. I've planned to a couple of times but it hasn't been.

We did the same thing for years the good old home party with friends and Kids but made mid night, tomorrow night going the hotel next door for their party

Whoa. Just done a 5 30 run and it was the tough run ive ever done. Showered and im still dripping wet with sweat.

How times have changed, I'll be lucky to make it to 12.

Pool party for me with some friend and the kids.

Going out to dinner with my pregnant lady, then heading into the city to see what's goin on.

Will probably be home by 10.

hard to say at the moment. two scenarios,

1...quiet bbq and off to bed very early for a pre dawn surf...most likely. will watch the early sydney fireworks

2....take up a few offers and get very ****ing loose

For the first time in about 10 years I am going down to the fireworks. A mate has an office in the Toaster Building so he is hosting a party there. Awesome location - pretty much as close as you can get to the action. So booze was delivered there yesterday and food etc - its a booze free zone so we can not take any in this evening when we get there. You need to pre-plan.

So in the best Chrispy tradition we will be getting loose in the big city. Ahhhh

I'm working till 2100 tonight, then coming home & having a beer like any other day. For me NYE was a great night for the single guy, used to be a great night for scoring...I quit smoking in 2009, bought a pack in Japan in 2011 when I took a side trip away from the missus to catch up with a friend. I smoked 1.5 cigs & threw the rest in the bin. Thing about cigs is you remember the craving for one due to the drug addiction, but for me at least. They really do taste crap once you spark one up.

Fireworks in Esperance at 9, then kids in bed by ten. Missus gone by 10.30.
I will see in the NY playing Clash of Clans and browsing the web dreaming of new boards.

Best lunch with a few cold beers done....now too.chill and get ready for some wave hunting tomorrow.... Maybe

Nice surf today! Took the 9'0 out (below), and had a ball... Surfs so smooth... Big or half small... Today was overhead on the sets...
And... the KTM is getting a trickle charge right now to keep the battery perfect, and ready for a ride on Friday!

Find the bigger waves, take-off deep, and let it run down the line!

Thanks for your concern LL - I am alive and well. Had to back up a bit today to alleviate the pain. Surf looks good tom morning. Lets hope a few people have to go to work
