After many years of neglect, a new club is about to be born to serve the needs of the hundreds of young guns, rusty guns and supporters in North West Tasmania. However, it will take your direct interest for this to happen! Surfing Tasmania has managed to pull together a lot of interested young surfers, parents and enthusiasts during this past summer towards this opportunity. A meeting will be held at the Old Penguin Railway Station 2.30 for 3pm Sunday May 26th where we plan to put together a local committee and begin the process of building a new boardriders club.(Local surfers at Park Beach are now going through a similar process and should be operational very soon). WE NEED YOU all to use social media etc to spread the word about this meeting and encourage everyone to turn up. Surfing Tasmania believes the North West has the potential to be Tasmania's biggest and most successful club. SEE YOU THERE! Shayne Clark, Surfing Tasmania. 0429891102
Sounds like a good idea if you are into this sort of thing TD - I wish you well on your conquest........please make sure you teach the young folk the drop in rule and that just because you can paddle inside someone doesn't mean you should
