ha yer mate they call him bear. He always has a camera if he is not surfing and takes photos for inbyrontoday. yer his a big unit has a 5 ft girlfriend which i find funny.

Not quite but I remember I was shocked as in I was thinking he was way heavier than he mentioned.115 or 120 and I was blown away he was riding a 908 x 22 3/4 x 3 or something very close.

Big tall bugger and not a shinny weed.

He has a nice relaxed style but for a 20 foot man oh my he is talented,one thing I've found is don't be scared to rock up and have a chat with the locals,it all changes the vibe and they really do let you have a few once the ice is broken.

What fin do you put in the model t ? There was no fin in the pics.

It's open to discussion any suggestions?

I have a few that have been in it,
I had a hatchet that I broke, it was about 10 inch.
Currently it has a10 inch fluid foils fat boy fin in it,this is actually the fin the guy gave me when I bought it, it seems to work with the area down low but needs more I think.

I also have a 12 inch takayama copy dolphin type fin that I used for a while.

But that's why I asked what it was, just looked kinda like a similar tail.

And the reason for no fin in the pic was I have to take it out to get in my car

That fin sure looks like one hell of a noserider fin.

I think the 10 inch hatchet is the fin for that board. Or one of these

Yeah the.back is going alright and should be surfing in a few months. I spoke to Rabbidge today about big boards after looking at Big spazzs board on another thread he said no dramas. Riding these in small waves would be a good way to get back into it. Jumping to my feet quick will be the test.

I been thinking that as well Mac. I live near a beach with a very gently sloping bottom and a south swell magnate. When it's small it peels nicely and there's usually banks and its a 50 meter walk to your car so an 11 footer would be ideal.I have a 10 and might get an 11 I'm around 95 kilos or a touch more .
