I sewed about 5 loops of thread into the back of my rashie then a few drops of superglue on the threads. Extremely tough loop to attach the glasses chord to.
I rinse my everything very well after every surf. What effects do you get on the lenses. Are you talking scratched or bleaching of the dye?

I considered the prescription sunnies option for a long time, I still think it's a good idea, but I'll stick with the contacts for now.
They're getting much easier to put in and I've found a good brand and supplier.
Because I only wear them on the weekend, a normal 3 month supply lasts me for ages.
Thats what I was doing too, but the added protection from glare and UV has me sold. With astigmatism in my prescription, contacts were bearable at best.
