What are your thoughts on this board. To me, looks like a great mid length with versatility. Quad +1 is appealing.

Looking for a summer/lazy prick board and this has caught my eye.

I have a similar board and it is awesome. Paddles well, is short enough that the lack of rocker can be dealt with in steeper waves (it's is not a barrelling take off board though), and the pintail will hold in surprisingly large surf. Mine is one of the most versatile boards I have ever surfed. Knee high to eight foot. Not many boards can do that.

Or maybe, I can't do that on many boards would be a better way to phrase it.

That's what I was thinking. But significantly cheaper. Yes, it's a GSI pop out, but for the $$$ doesn't look too bad. I rode a 7' Tak Scorpion the other day, but it felt too small for my 6'3" 95kg frame. Thinking the 7'6" of the love child might be just the ticket.

Those boards look like they go alright. Lots of versatility n wave range options. Tea cake was riding a similar type of thing in his latest video. Can not recall the model but it be an ECS board n they are pretty cheap n seem to hold up pretty good as well.

Just looked it up - seems they might not have one big enough for you

The new model bs is a quad only. The've been selling like hot cakes.

I still get guys pulling me up in the carpark wanting to look at it.

For me it has the wave catching ability of 9.1 mal.

Will turn without catching at slow speeds yet I can also mix with the shortboard crew on most waves.

I mean what more could you want on any board

Proofs in the pudding. Still going strong 4 months down the line

They look pretty good on that little clip. Wonder which size they are riding.

the tail looks nice and pulled in2 Which can be a problem if they are wide, tend to hang in the top of the wave in my experience.

ok i will ask why you recommend this lacey as the op is after more of a longboard shrunk into a shorter board.... imo the the bob sled is a blown up short board, not even a true midlength in that sense.

i surf up here with a older bloke who loves his bob sled,it is a older one, only a quad not a thruster set up. He loves it and it is a sweet looking board. Yet not a chance to nose ride it or even cheater fives on it.

i ordered a new beefed up version of my beesting today to replace my longboard. Similar to the tak scorpion which i really enjoyed,i just think with the double flyer it makes it way looser and will hold just as easily as the drawn in pin of the tak.... i love the double flyer i have in my beesting now, which has been my daily driver for a year now and that a beefed up one will allow a more longboard style of surfing without having the extra few feet.

oh my board is of a great quality and will not send ya broke

Lacey do you know why McT have stopped the Bobtail and gone for a more coventional roundtail on the newer Bobsleds? Loved the look of the older swallowtail with flyers.....

haha. mid length is what I read.

7 ft is mid length . its made by a longboard company

I can get up the front of mine if I need to trim over flat section.

come to the alley some day and I teach you how to do it

bsq 7 ft has made riding a mal 9.3 a thing of the past.

No idea. Im not a mct nutcaze.

All I know is its basically a new model will the bs tag. Big outline with a massive concave going into a massive double around the middle of the board. Also kinda chined too from the nose to past mid rail ish.

A lot of work on the bottom side for sure. Low ish rocker

Pretty radical to look at but you know.
its a outstanding all rounder
