To be honest I have never really been a big fan of his...I like more creative types in the half back position and thought that he had probably reached his peak.

Well in recent times his ability post game has me in oar.....he has turned me round so I just want to give the guy a big fat WELL DONE from me. Total respect.

Lets have a look at why......

And in closer details here is Ashely

And here is Ciara

The boy is walking living legend travelling beautifully. He is on the back page of the Tele the other day and now he is on the front. Is this bloke the new Warnie but without the baggage?

Mitchell Pearce goes from Pussycat Doll to Playboy Bunny with Ciara Price

THIS is the Playboy Playmate who put a spring in the side-step of rugby league star Mitchell Pearce in the days before he helped the Blues beat Queensland in Game Two of Origin.

The NSW halfback has become the new playboy of Australian sport, hooking up with covergirl Ciara Price just weeks after being seen partying with a Pussycat Doll.

Pearce, who until recently lived with Phoebe Carpenter, has turned his full attention to the buxom blonde since she arrived in Sydney.

He even risked breaking Origin camp protocol by taking her back to the team hotel, Coogee's Crowne Plaza, in the lead-up to Wednesday's crucial clash.

While coach Ricky Stuart told players nothing should come between the Blues and victory, Pearce spent the lead-up to the game bombarding the November 2011 Playmate of the Month with his attention.

The relationship comes just weeks after Pearce split with Carpenter after being seen partying with American Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.

Introduced by mutual friends at a local bar last Saturday, American centrefold Price, 22, is understood to have spent the night with Pearce on Sunday at the hotel while his Origin teammates slumbered.

And when the Blues were given days off last Saturday and on Monday to spend time with their family and friends, he invited her to watch a DVD.

Price also watched Game Two of State of Origin from a corporate box at Sydney's ANZ Stadium last Wednesday as Pearce, son of rugby league great Wayne Pearce, played on the winning team. She is understood to have spent Thursday evening at his apartment.

The pair were photographed leaving the home together early on Friday before he dropped Price at a girlfriend's Kings Cross house. The pair shared a lingering kiss before he went to Roosters training.

The playmate's Australian representative, Amanda Archer, yesterday confirmed the couple's budding romance.

"Ciara met Mitchell through mutual friends and they've been enjoying each other's company," she said.

Price is in Sydney with fellow Playboy playmate Crystal Harris, who was once engaged to Hugh Hefner, for appearances at Bar100 in The Rocks. Also a DJ, she has signed on for regular gigs at the venue.

She is the latest beauty to be wooed by the blue-eyed 23-year-old footballer.

In the early hours of Sunday, April 29, Pearce was snapped leaving Bar100 alongside Roberts. Her spokesman said the pair were "just friends".

Pearce, who took Carpenter to the Dally M Awards as his date last year, is understood to have been living with his longtime girlfriend in Randwick at the time.

She moved out of their apartment weeks later.

Not knocking the bloke but do you reckon he would be in the origin team if he wasn't the son of junior ,it's not as if the blues are short on halfbacks .

Yes I reckon he would. He's not the flashiest ball player but he more than makes up for it with his defence.
