After looking at the weather map I decided to move my office a few hours north of the mid coast of NSW for 3 days. It seemed like a good idea at the time. A couple of colleagues came along as well and surprisingly we achieved a great deal whilst sampling a few of the local goodies. Although the swell was small the local was sucking every bit of it in and most of the time I shared it with just one or two others. I finally fulfilled a lifetime ambition to stay in a lighthouse - which was epic. Amazing views to wake up to and to have a sundowner to.....we even had a visit from a bunch of whales. Feel revitalised and ready for more. I would tell ya where it is but its a secret

Nice pics Ted, but that place is the worst kept secret on the east coast.

BTW, MRs back in town, we had a surf this morning, he's a bit rusty, but he eventually found his mojo.

As for the not so secret spot - yep its out Sounds like you had a good surf the other day as well. How lovely is the weather at the moment - madness for August.

Nope not me.....I just surfed the shortie all week......as for the water temp there was a chick out in a wetsuit swimsuit which looked rather good....I mean cold. Water temp is definitely on the rise though.....its still August and already we are having a 27 degree day today can you believe.
