Anyone know much about Gordon and Smith boards? In particular the magic egg model? Looking to add a mid length to fit along side the longboard.

If you know about them, how would you size it being 105kg and 6'3"?

G&S make great boards out of Byron. Mchenry had one for a while.

On the model I'm not sure, but hey you can't go past a egg/pod type shape. Very versatile and fun shapes.

More than likely shaped by Nigel Perrow (Kieren's dad) and glassed at Noosa surfworks on the Sunshine coast.
So very good shaper and very good glass jobs.
I've owned a couple of G&S magic fish from the above and they were good.
I thought a mate of mine is selling a G&S egg on gumtree and he's close to your weight.
Edit: couldn't find it...will ask him.

Love this board. When Tux originally posted it I saved the photo as I loved it so much.

Do you use it often Tux>>

Yeah bro I use it quite a lot...if the current is running hard, you are dealing with a crowd or you just want to get heaps of waves in a hurry this is my go to mainly becasue of the extra paddle power...saying that I have surfed it in waist high peelers and had a ball on it too

The only thing its doesn't do real well is go vertical I think if I make another one I would probably give it a bit more rocker and vee in the nose and maybe just a half inch more tail kick this would probably lose a bit when its really small and add a bit when its bigger

Why not make a new one then and sell me that one?

I knew I should have put it on the car the other day when I left

similar to my single plan shape. mine is a little more pulled in on the nose. On the waist high wave thing tux,i hear ya. I wish i had mine out today, would have been a fun little wiggle on the tiny runners. Buy mine ted. I would put side bites in it to get the most out of it . damn im gonna do it now.
