Over here in the west has anyone got any reviews they can share on a good mid length single fin? Production or Custom.

Want something to surf when the beaches get a bit heavy for the 9'3 single, If I was as good as Tyler Hatzikian I would pull into them on the 9'3 but sadly I am not

I'm sure Yahoo could make a nice board. Ask Drip he has an insane Yahoo 8 footer for juicier waves

Christenson c bucket. Takayama Flow egg, south Coast slot machine, vouch evo are some to look at. If youre riding in them in beachies I'd consider getting side bites and then look at the Howard Mini by takayama.

Mark Ogram does a Beachie model of his longboards. I am sure he could sort something out for you. Obviously its not a review, but I have found Mark very responsive and listens well. The Beachie model is aimed for beachies obviously. I have forgotten the differences, but a quick phone call will sort you out.

Alternatively, I really like the Yahoo Wahoo in beach breaks. It surfs waist high well and I have had it in double overhead no worries at all. It appears to be a very versatile board.

If you like the look of my 8 foot triple stringer, there is a copy of that (with one stringer) sitting on the racks in the shop right now so you can see it in the flesh. It is 2+1.

Cheers for the advice guys, I like the look of the Yahoo's, although not a single still look the goods.

Really like the look of the McTavish Rincon, I know Simondo has done reviews on this before so will dig one up.

Oggy (Yahoo) does a good one and will finish a board better than just about anyone on the planet, pure craftsman.

If you you're stuck in Perth go and see Ross at Soul Boardstore in Scarborough, tell him what your chasing.

6'10" x 22 x 3

I bought it to grovel, which it does quite well with me standing on the nose and striking Elvis poses, but it turns out it goes pretty big too. I have surfed it up 8'. When does it get pulled these days? Small, fat slug waves and when it's 4-6' open face waves. Sucky take offs aren't it's thing.

its currently awaiting some repairs after I killed it in Perth a couple of months back.
