Apologies for not showing a presence recently but had a crap load on and find it easier to abstain rather than only occasional use. (Sounds like some form of substance abuse).

I hope all have a very happy Christmas and New Year. Danielson and I are off to Nusa Island Retreat PNG tomorrow for 10 days surfing. It is our 1st Father & son surf trip and have been planning it for a longtime. Hopefully I'll have lots of pics to share when we return.

We will think of you all while we are there. Sincerely.

Anyone got any menu tips?

Because my daughter celebrates in the European way, on christmas eve, with her hungarian family, we don't have a big spread on christmas day.

But one thing I will try this year is a 2 part pizza base for the starters with just some tomato paste and garlic along with the cheese.

Greek yogurt & self raising flour.

That's it, nothing else, tried it last night and it's quite passable, a little chewy, but still good.

Merry xmas to you all.....we are off for our annual tradition....its the pizza cook off. 7 families, 2 homemade pizzas each washed down with anything from white to red to beer to champs to cocktails.....kids on the tramp and playing hide and seek....I will be hanging out talking crap with the fellas around the bbq.

Tom morning I will be up at 4:50am for the 5:10am paddle out. Hope i get a peak to myself like this morning

Nothing worse than a Sydney stinker on christmas day when you've got to spend a lot of time indoors.

Lovely weather here boys up at 4 had an hour at wide snaps,some good sets rolled in wind was into it early tho.

We were planning to head to beach with kids. Last year we headed down to Coogee beach for a couple of hours. Highlight was the breath of alcohol on the pommy backpackers whilst swimming out back. Santa brought the kids ipad minis so I think they're happy to stay home and look at God knows what in their bedrooms. To be honest I am knackered and will hit the lounge for a nap soon.

having some fun with it in the pool its the black edition what ever that means another swim and its seafood time.

Mother inlaw upped it this year from the 700 to the 1000 Bundy

Skype with the daughters in New York white xmas for them and having a great time.

Just received Coldplay Live 2012 from my sister inlaw who lives in the US of A.That will get a run later.

All in all a quite one here with a three passings and the girls away all good will raise the glasses for them before the feast,I'll sure you lot are having a great day well done lads sit back relax and enjoy the ride.
