While not a fan, note the little blue symbol imprinted above the fin box on picture 3. It looks most definately like the GSI symbol and you can match that with the dimensions and the font it is written in - too perfect for a shapers hand writing.

Yes - that's a GSI McT - made in Thailand. I have one... should be OK as long as it is NOT the SLX glass job, which this one does not seem to be.

Imported and I wouldn't pay more than 500 for it.

I'm a small build chick - 5"3 - 50kgs - Surely it would withstand a
Lightweight cruiser without too many impressions on the deck? Surely?

If the price is right go for it... I am 112kg and surf a GSI 9'1" McT Fireball Evo with no problems... some minor deck compressions... but hey, I am twice your weight... Oh and mine is three years old.

In fact - I think $700 would be a good price if it's in good nick - as even the GSI's are over $1,100 new.

It will be fine for you weight,where are you based,a girl that works for me has a 8 foot custom shaped by Bob Mctavish for sale
its the girls model.I think she will take 700 for it surfed twice,I've only seen a picture of it cool artwork.

I'm abit sceptical of the import boards, but it's still good value for money considering the asking price & the lack of good second hand longboards that come up for sale. There certainly isn't an abundance of McT longboards advertised at the moment, from what I've seen anyway. If anyone can point me in the direction of a good/better board based in Brisbane/Gold Coast please don't hesitate

From what I've read these fireballs are a great board, sorry to mention SUP in the longboard section but........... This board will be a follow on from learning to surf on the 9 foot SUP. Hopefully I'm not disappointed & pick it up quick.
Any hints/tips will also be greatly appreciated.

I'm in Northish QLD but travel to Bris & its surrounds regularly.

Theres an 8'2 second hand fireball on the McT site if you have your sights set on a McT . For someone your size it would be much easier to handle than a 9 footer. Get on the site and have a look . Its yellow. Good luck.
