Mac suggested posting this board here. It's kind of neither a Longboard, or shortboard. Shortboard orientated, but the McTavish Longboard guys might find it interesting....
Bob shaped it for himself, and he was riding it with a set of Kelly Quads that Kelly gave gave. Needless to say, the board came to me without these valuable fins !
The "spread" is a little unusual. Front fins are a touch further forward than a normal spread, and closer together. The thinking was for the fins to more under your foot, and to allow it to go rail to rail better. Generally making the board more lively. And it has works!
The board is slim/trim in the tail, without the usual McTavish Hips at the front fins, as a step-up type board, for overhead waves.

This is 7"10 x 21 x 3". However, it actually measures 20"1/2 wide. Probably feels more like 2"7/8 thick, due to the concaves, and bevels that McTavish uses.
