I just had my Mctavish fireball resprayed after having the stress marks fixed on the bottom. The artist is Denise Stephenson Custom Art on facebook. Luckily she lives around the corner. The board isn't quite finished yet, finish coat to go. I am a bit of a silver surfer fan as you can see. It is my board for bigger surf, so it gets used sparingly lol. I am also going to get my retired 10 footer resprayed to hang on the wall one day soon.

Im a spraypainter by trade and did alot of airbrushing in my time.

Looking at the detail in that I would say that took her a bucketload of time, did it cost alot? Dont post a price if you are not comfortable, Im just interested

$250, I think it is a good deal. Can't wait to get it back. Getting the clear coat done on the weekend. Matches nicely with the Silver Surfer tattoo I have, had it done years ago lol.

I look at it this way buy an old peace of crap and 250 later its wall art,cheap imo.

Awesome. The McT logo end looks great too. Can you get a better pic of the detail on the McT end please?

Sure will Simondo as soon as I get it back from my board repairer. The artist took the photo's for me. Hopefully I will have it back soon.

Good Thanks Bill, I have finally got my new board, a Simon Anderson 11 footer, goes great. Just need some decent waves for it. Will do a review in another forum lol.

11ft ! Joisus thats a lotta board for a 65kg flyweight mate - you will need to speak to mac about his secret to bulking up.

Hope you get up this way again soon - oh and the mutt is going great - not overly obedient but shes a real joy to have around.
