Board arrived in perfect condition!

9'6 x 22 x 3 McTavish G2 (Generation 2 Gun).
(Blue Hawaii Splice? - It's light blue tint in the tail end, and light white milky tint up front)

This is my big day cruiser. My 8'6 handles the juice really well, but this is for the casual "paddle ins" into the big bombs.







I think I have 5 McT's. I'll get a line-up shot of them...

Looks great simondo - the balance of the natural stone cladding against the slats on the garage door nail it. Are the slats cedar or hardwood ?
Oh, and the new board looks fantastic mate, you must be stoked.

Scotty, the answer to your assumed rhetoric question is "wrc"! I did it by hand myself. The garage door mob wanted $4 Grand for the slat work, so I said just give me the blank door. I'll do the slats. The slats were about $400 and it too me about 4 hours, with about $25 of stainless steel screws, screwed from the rear face. That's equal to about 2.5 Custom McT's !!

That's turned out nice. Nice colors too.

Nice looking board Simondo - probably not one I would normally ride up where I live as by the time I need a board that size I am watching safely from the beach I imagine on those lovely long point breaks of yours though that your new stick could be used within my comfort zone and I would have lots of fun!!!!

Have been talking with McT for about a board for 3ft to 8ft waves for a trip OS this year. Could have also used it yesterday at Greenmount. Gun is cocked and loaded with a UF8 in the sights. 8 ft x 22 x 3.

You've got me thinking... I need OG SUP to get his model girls along, and we can do a sexier photo shoot with the new gun!?

Exactly what I want Simondo for those big days we get here at Port Stephens, really nice looking board!! Would love to demo one. I love using my 9'6 fireball when it is over 6ft but do get mowed down on the odd occasion, the G2 looks like it has a turbo button.

Soon, Im looking at getting a 6,7 custom and I have a good idea of what I want.
I rode a 6,7 MR on the weekend and it was good in the overhead waves that we were in. Its a mates and I havnt ridden it decent waves before and I was happy with how it went but it was a tiny but too big so Im thinking 6,7 x 18 7/8 x 2 7/16
rounded pin. I was thinking channels but thats limits its ability a bit.

Not sure who Im going to order it through tho. I was thinking LSD but Im thinking of trying a different construction but I do love PU.
