Anyone had one?

Suitable for a 70 kg lightweight that surfs mainly beachies and the odd point (mainly sunnie coast) that wants to get a longboard (longer than the current 7"6')??

Yep, The Original ticks those boxes.
At 70kg, you only need a 9'1.
The glide that you get from the 9'1 is unreal.
The Original really handles a steep little take off too.
Perfect board for re-finding your timing if you are struggling on shorter equipment.

Even Bob McTavish is taking an Original 9'1 to The Maldives next week. Plus an EvoII Custom Epoxy - 9'0.

Will get you some photos!

Sounds good.

Wanted a bit of an allrounder type board that I can eventually get somewhere near the nose (skill is currently the limiting factor I think more than anything) but not too traditional so I can have half a chance of turning the thing reasonably easily while my technique improves (or at least hopefully improves.....).....

I've had all kinds of them for the last 10 years even though I'm primarily a shortboarder still (at 59, yikes). Won't have a quiver without one. A terrific everyday board, noserides well and really comes alive in quality surf when you want to surf rail to rail top to bottom. You can't go wrong.

There's one on ebay - but its 9' 6"

As Simondo says - I don't really want to go bigger than 9'
