Can't say it would sound like fun, lets get in the car folow a bunch of people to a place that's going to be super busy and watch someone else surf.

Sounds like a good reason to go somewhere else and hope the crowds go watch slater and leave you alone.

Plan on going north and south of the comp to surf myself. But don't wanna miss out on the party in town. Its rare for anything good to happen in this state as it is.

Only ever seen one surf comp in my life, the Whalebone at Cottesloe for about an hour. it was OK.

My attitude is if it's good enough for a comp, it's probably good enough for a surf (somewhere else).

You're probably right, as an event it will probably be a hoot. I'm getting too old to fight my way through crowds. if someone can organise a VIP pass for me I'd go.

What a bunch of whingers. Guys you really should get out more often. Margys was great weather good crowd and good vibe for the weekend. Glad I made the effort to drive down from Gero to see some of the worlds best.
