He has been hassling me for two weeks on this thing, the best I've seen him surf was on the evoII he sold to Simondo,Asea can surf but imho lost a great board,my ufo is not going to get wet anytime soon so it will go to a good home and Asea will smash it a little more volume than his 9.2 evoII.Chrispy I asked a high but fair price on this board so I can't see him making any money out this one.

I reckon it's great to have a quiver - and that's a great looking quiver, Mac. The addition of a 666 makes sense - especially if it's for after a surf or for when you would not otherwise even get wet cos the waves are so bad.
Curious about one thing though Mac - how often do you surf each board? I would think one is your "go to" almost every day and the others are just for certain occasions/conditions and only get in the water now and then?
Cheers, Dave

Good question,I sold my go to board a while back and played and enjoyed others along the way,I went smaller 9.3 and them 10 foot a fun board and couldn't stop riding it,I've now got myself sorted on a 9.6.I found spending too much time on the one board screws up the other boards so I'm mixing it up the past 6 weeks and yes the 666 will get a heap on use in the afternoons and poor days.

I'll be down to three boards tomorrow after Asea takes one,too many boards can do your head in at times Simondo must have issues deciding what board to ride.

Cheers Mac. Thanks for that. I have a 6'6 Classic Malibu egg, fairly fine through the nose and quite hard rails so it has a bit of character, an 8ft Carver which I've had for years and love, and I recently got a 7'2 Classic Mal which is more of a classic pin tail with some width under the chest and really low rocker and I think it's going to be a really good summer junk board for the sluggish beachies where I do my wave scrounging. Hell, even if I'm not using them it makes me happy just seeing em there. Have had a few 9' plus ones over the years ... might have to chase another one up -- and then that MIGHT see me through summer. (Might not)
