the Good news is the wife has given me the nod to display a board in the House.
is there any good of the shelf mounts to display long boards horizontally?

yeah they look awesome....i was hoping they had an equally as nifty horizontal system...but yeah thats the type of thing i was looking for but 90 deg!

Two palette planks shaped then drilled bashed wire brushed then sanded whitewashed or bleached.
or start looking for good driftwood I've seen some good ones in my time.

We use
www.invirack.com/
for Bec's late Mum's 1974 restored Jackson single fin (being her rider at the time she passed away in 1976).
It sits it's in our daughter's room and does the job perfectly.

I too use invirack for my Barry Benett. Really clever easy to use/install bit of gear.
I also have a Hawaiian gun rack in timber for my wooden board.
