Lockracks anybody any feedback on them . Have sold my Kombi to a bloke from Qld and after years of being spoilt throwing the boards in the back , am now finding tying boards on the roof a pain in the butt . Especially when the wind is up / raining and its getting dark - not fun .

I normally carry round 1 SUP or longboard and maybe a couple of shortboards for the kids . Wondering is a narrow single SUP base going to work for me for the SUP / longboard then throw the kids boards inside .

Spoke to the blokes at the company yesterday - very helpful but would like other opinions ( already have a cupboard full of various board - roofrack attachments lying in the shed )

SP has them and loves them - have a search on SB you will probably find his contribution. Bloody windy here today. Would not want to be putting a collection of board on the roof

talking to a tourist stayed at the caravan park where you are last year - chained the caravan to his car in the middle of the night - thought his caravan was going to blow over .

thanks Ted . would be worth a look at some of the protected bays east of where you are . I am hoping to do the same around 5 pm if I can get out of work on time .Sadly as a rule this wind is pretty constant here for winter just a matter of finding somewhere nearby a bit protected .Lots of our winter swells are northwesterly wind swells . Imagine it would have been the same in your old NZ days
