That is awesome...as Chrispy points out, battery life would be an issue for capturing surf footage. But wow, they're going to need collision detection in the future coz a lot of people are going to want these

Agree in the value stakes a decent HD cam is $300 alone so...

As for surfing, well it can water takeoff so thats 20mins of wave and paddle out time and then it can sleep between waves...

I'm actually thinking about it for trekking though, climb to the top of a mountain and let it fly for speccy views and different perspective.
