Ok lads.. Hair Gel, Fake tan, Waxed chest, Tiny scrotum at the ready?

So I know there are a couple of gym goers in here on the LB side. Any one dabbled in strength training? Heavy weights, low reps..

Keen to hear how you think it has affected your surfing, whether that be in a good or bad way.

Mate imo,it depends on your body frame and type.Tom Carrol strong fit with solid legs = strong turns. Pending on how your training it should give you more power,I need to change my program

No forget that I only go to the gym because of the large mirrors

Extra marks for the added degree of difficulty -- doing it with a clothesline coming out your bum and holding the pose til the shirts are dry. Well done.

Mr Nothing i know nothing but my take on it as a oldy by many, when i was many years ago doing weights for footy yes i had strength but the guys who weren't bulked up ran rings around me on the paddling side of things so my theory is don't do heavy wts low reps, but light wts lots of reps.Helps with the cardio side of things which i am sadly lacking.
