that does sound like a nice thing to imagine tho! Although i ahve never been to a sleezy jazz club so can't make the comparison!!

I remember one morning ages ago - i just had the best dream about dancing on this board, woke up feeling i had it all sussed - and then got in the water and gumbied again!!!

To be honest last summer i was really surprised at the number of girls surfing. I have no problem with that but it was very obvious to me the change. One day i think i was out numbered like 5 girls to each guy

Good to see the sport changing, especially with my daughter looking up to others around her. In Fact she was paddling off talking to them getting advice on stuff i couldn't help with, like hair, bathers under wetsuits all that stuff

Even things like getting changed on the beach for a girl is so different than for guys.

The jury is still out for me about the bathers under a wetsuit! Maybe an all girl thread post on this might help! Lol!

The interesting thing I have noticed, girls, especially the ones I surf with, all offer constructive criticism - like - you looked down then etc that's why you feel off. Someone I know who is a surf coach has said there is no way boys/men would talk to each other like that.

Regardless, I love it and being in the water with boys or girls is just as awesome :) Actually that's a lie - being in the water with cute boys is even better :)

i love girls/women/ladies more then most men in the world....yet i hate chicks in te surf generally. i find most of the time they are greedy without any manners whatsover and use the im a chick and your bloke...blink my eyes and its all freaking cool...noway girlfriend,dont drop in,dont bail out and most of all dont blink your eyelids and flirt because your a ****wit


remember i love everyone that surfs...its just that most girls i have encountered are of the above pedigree

Well that sucks for you! And them! I do not expect waves just cause I'm a girl.
Besides that, I don't catch half the waves I paddle for anyway. :)
