I reckon you can get away with using one that is 1 foot shorter than your board when you riding a HP longboard.

I suppose so if your longboard is 1 foot long.

O&E Delux editions rock. Especially the blue ones. Keep clear of green ones.

I hate o&e lb leggies, they are well made but they are the worst for wrapping around your feet.

The creatures one used to have a long attachment on the ankle strap that kept it away from your feet but they changed there design. still prefer them.

Shorter ones usually Balin but I have a collection of various brands OAM, Channel Islands, o&e.

I have one on every board otherwise I'll forget.

I've got a red Balin leggie. It matches the board. I seem to go through them quicker these days. It must have something to do with riding a 10'6 and 11 footer.

I use Creatures and only black ones. This may be complete urban myth stuff but it has stuck with me for any years. The leggie is weakened by pigment so coloured lefties are more prone to snap. Black leggie use carbon and are markedly stronger. Clear leggie a use no pigments and are more flexible, which can be a bad thing as they can be lacky bands or snap as they lose their elasticity quicker. I read that in one of the fonts of knowledge that are Tracks or ASL - can't remember which one - and it is something I have held onto for far too many years with I empirical evidence. But I am telling ya, anything other than black is asking for troubles.

And I mainly use Reef 2 and I used an Outer Reef for my longboard as I knew there would be times it would be under a fair bit of pressure. I hate snapping leggies so always go overboard.

Might be rubbish too, but it made sense to a very young me. I make no claims to its veracity.

O & E are the go - but I would like to try Balin & probably will buy them next just to see whether the hype is justified

Used creatures leggies exclusively on last Telos trip and spent a lot of time swimming for boards due to the Velcro letting go. And these were recommended to me prior to the trip for juicer waves. Borrowed a cheap no name brand from a mate and problem solved. I now take a lot more interest in leg ropes these days

I buy new ones every 12 months, I would always get O&E delux, but my shop did not have them last time, only Balin, so I got 2 new Balin.

I can't really tell any difference.

I think Balin are about 5 bucks cheaper on average.

Mmm. Can't give a thumbs up, but thumbs up. I hate swimming in solid waves.

Snapped a near new O&E Premium longboard knee rope on a solid day,my board ended up on the rocks lucky no damage, i contacted O&E and told them i have used
O&E products from day one and was dissapointed in the performance of their premium leggie, couple of days later there was a box on my door step containing two leggies, a hat and a couple of blocks of wax

Creatures are good but I find they could go a bit bigger on the ankle strap , they don't think about 5ml booties & 4/3 wetties
