Ok, so this isn't the first time I have had a whinge about leaf blowers. But this is my no. 1 pet hate for 2 reasons.
1. They are so fark in loud.
In fact, I can't think of anything louder then these.
2. The pr1cks that use them are so lazy they could get a rake and/or broom and green garbo bag (has to be green). I just drove past a lawn mover guy blowing all the clippings off the footpath back onto the grass. Guess where those clippings end up tomorrow scoop ? Yep, back on the footpath.

Well I just bought one, a rechargeable 18v jobbie, can't believe I've gone this long without one, I love it! These battery ones are nowhere near as loud as the petrol or electrics but have more than enough puff to do what I want.

However I won't be using it before 9am or after 6pm as I know what I think of people that do, my post mowing & whipper snippering cleanup is about a 1/3 of the time of sweeping so I'm happy.

All you leaf blowing, lazy farking, cock smoking environmental terrorists give up all water sports...do not ever whinge that some bogan has thrown rubbish out of their car window, never whinge when some grub dumps a ciggie butt, don't ever have the audacity to judge anyone, not even fat chicks in tights standing in the buffet line with two plates....you people are the scourge....

Oh the excuses will.start,I have read some already,it saves ME time pffft to that one.
Buy one with reverse and mulch it you dickheads, instead of blowing it down the drains....if not buy one you lazy farks....oh but you bitches that are paying someone, pay them more to do the right thing....otherwise none of you selfish wankers deserve to be water users nor deserve the riget to drink clean water......now that's a rant I stand behind for the first one in 2014, to think I had one resolution this year......it's gone now

I love my Blower at work. After half an hour of raking up leaves, blowing all the excess off the footpath onto the nature strip is a dream com true haha. That's the least of the noise issues, the chipper is the real noisy SOB, starting her up at 8 in the morning has nagged on a few neighbours in the past.

Chrispy, settle down!
Hey, I don't even own one! And thinking about it further, I don't need one.
I was only interested in what Vander's bought.

Peace and Love to everyone!

Chrispy, I think at least 2/3 of the clippings should stay back on the gardens, and back on the lawns, if the job is done right!

Point taken on the water ways issue!

Ryobi One+ 18v.

And to be honest I don't really give a stuff what anyone thinks & I'll stand by that!

I might even buy a second one for the other hand so then I can double the amount I'm blowing around.
