Matt was out there an hour ago said waves from the point all the way into mid
coolie beach,now that's one long ride,he called it a fun 4 to 5 foot.

I just got back and it was a fn joke. Never have I ever surfed with a crowd like that in my life. The most stupid place on earth to Surf if you want to have fun.

Mac you just don't like beachies bycause you can't get out past the white wash. I'm going to give a certain spot a crack at about 3.

Chrispy I kissed goodbye to my shortboard days on beachies years ago,surfing longboards in beachies verses points call me what you like but I'm going to the points any day

What happened today, the crowed too heavy, was it dog eat dog out there today or dropins or all threeWhat were you on short or longboard

All 3 Mac. Unless you were a gun you weren't going to get sh1t. Everybody else was fighting for what they could get,which you know how that ends up.

Just leaving main now and the surf has gotten bigger since lunch and it does not look like it's stopping either. So the crowds will be thinning out now I would imagine,and that includes me lol. I was on my shorty,in hindsight I would have scored more on the smile board,but it would've sucked turtle rolling that much haha

- cool water ie not hot
- light winds for a week

you know for all the talk about the last couple of days, i had a surf there with mac last saturday. now i've had some really sweet waves at the alley lately, but session at lm was a cracker. some very good waves with bugger all folks out and me being about the only 666'er out.


which meant i could pick of the wide sectional waves or dash inside of the sweet inside growers instead of fighting it out with a dozen other 666'ers.


mind you you have to know your stuff a bit and show you know what you are doing.

i've had no complaints or abuse so far at lm.

i also get my 6,,7,8 or so waves and get out while the goings good

You got that right SP. BUT when or if you got a wa've.....WOW. My best one was by luck,paddling and was watching this bloke tearing the **** out off it. He goes to pull into the tube,and I thought he's not going to make it,
I spun around and waited,watched it section out and then paddled my little chicken arms for all they were worth.
Got on it and tube straight off. Worked it dodging people.and yelled two massive oi's then pulled into another.

4 little but nice tubes plus so much wall it was mental. From. Outside lm to pretty much the bank.at maccas before it shut down, was farken magic.

In saying that,it was not worth it.....sort off.

Christ its a farking production line of Davy Jones' magic .... geez you lucky farkers
