Must say I have enjoyed this first innings in the 50 over format. Must admit I have not watched a lot of 50 over stuff in recent years and was not looking forward to the 70 odd matches this summer. But this has been a good opener for me. Well played Australia so far. Think they might be a few runs short but they did a super job to get this far.

How good is beer.

Hot as a naked Kate Upton here...

Good total posted by the looks of it. Hopefully be a good chase.

De kock was been rendered impotent early.

Soft De kock, very soft. Could have pulled out.

He needs to harden up, keeps his eye on the ball and wield the wood with conviction and pop a few cherries with that willow.

Their fielding was terrible on several occasions - cost them dearly in the end. Loving these beers in the heat. Thank goodness the southerly change should come though shortly.

I know, hope he comes through OK, and makes a quick recovery...

It's such a fine line sometimes, between "all is fun and well".... and "oh crap"...
For example, Lacey, and Michael Schumacher...

Increasing talk that the first test might be cancelled. I think to date the men in Blazers have done a good job so far. Let's hope Phill can pull through

Terribly sad news...
......

......

I think cricket helmets will be revised after this... Adjustable guards for that area at the back of the head... Or dense foam padding extending further down... But it was a freak accident... The cricketers need to reassure the bowler now, give that poor bloke some support...
