Ok - who in Tassy or Vic has a good LB (9.6ish) that they wanna sell me for under $450 ??

Yes its a serious question.

I've just found Australias best longboard wave and I have to get amongst it.

Wow - that sounds like a find.

Your odds are good - With Mac getting himself another new board shortly....that means Asea will be getting the hand me down and Simondo will pick up another from him which should mean Simondo has a board to go

Red herring in burnie hire out NSP longboards and sell them off secondhand .

No idea what they are made of I would be guessing epoxy . Bloke I know hired one for a day to try them out reckons they were a lot of fun .

Not sure if there are any there at the moment though

Thanks TD. I have owned and ridden nsp mals for years and they are as good or better than any longboard on the market.
Being a long term fan of tuflite I am wondering if the coco is a similar weight and feel to tuflite. Im not sure whether a superlight mal is optimal for where I plan to surf. Will make some kind of decision today.
I just hope the body is up to riding a mal again.
Oh - has anyone seen hooded vests online ? I use sds and surfstitch but they dont seem to stock them.

Funny Bill how NSP have a bad rep when they aren't bad boards . Probably just people being anti the mass foreign production .

I am sure I saw hooded vests for sale on e bay recently , personally I hate them but they are warm

Just talking to a bloke about your secret LB break . He agreed apparently a great spot when all the other spots are blown out by big northwesterly to westerlys will have to get there next time the conditions are right and check it out .

Unfortunately today's surf started out as a bit of a stuff up .
No surf at the spot we were heading to so BB has headed back to Launy while me and my old mate Big Dave on his board called the floating boat , headed for another spot .

Lucky for me and Big Dave we cracked it pretty good , nice 3 footers with only 2 others to share it with . Beautiful spot looking back over green rolling hills and old colonial homes .
What started out as a real downer turned out to be the best surf I have had since last summer

I still got a beautiful paddle across the estuary and around the bay - and my first paddle in boardies and tee since arriving in tassie. Had a superb coffee at ETC and back to town to watcb a great hockey final - followed by the best italian meal Ive ever had.
