Here's some pics of Greeny into Snapper this afternoon.

This was Kirra about 2 hours after I got out, swell has dropped a bit but clean and with a lot less bodies.

we did a dw run .paddled out at lm. it looked fun on the high tide.

im done for the day tho

Great pictures Vanders your view sucks I'd ask to move rooms

I was going to go back with Matt at about 2 this afternoon but the crowds and I never whinge about crowds

No shortage of waves there, is there? Every single bloody ripple breaks somewhere on the bank. That's the great thing about the Snapper waves - they can handle a lot of people. Not that I have surfed it a million times, but I once counted 250 people in the water, paddled out and still got enough waves to come in smiling. It really is playground.

I haven't surfed kirra with a bit of a half decent wave for a long time. it wasn't pumping or anything but first up it was the old kirra hitting the bank solidly.

you take off with a lot of wall in front or you and it never lets up.

its never been place to take off half hearted

should have gone out on Saturday- way less crowded then sunday

we got mac out there so that was a worthy feat in its self- to get him away from lm.

however he took my advice to far and went down to the nippers to sort them out.

just kidding

Had good long mal surf today with the V at K the V really gave the Goddard a flogging and he came up smiling good shiz

Yeah a couple of nice waves until the wind turned onshore and chopped it up.

Caught two waves right off Kirra point with nice rides almost to the beach, third wave I stuffed it up and who was right there beside me but 'the prez', a couple of waves later I did it again tangling my front foot in the leg rope on the pop up, prez right there again.

Asea caught a couple of crackers with one with one nice round house cuttie I saw. Thanks for sharing the session mate.

Great thread this one. Loving it. Hope you get some fun times Vandwrs with the boys. My recollection of Asea is that he rips and has a very high wave count

Yeah lay day called today, very ugly indeed.

Trip back home at lunch time then we'll drive back later this afternoon.

No no trips to the bay planned to the bay Mac as no more boards are required at this point.
