Well thats a better answer than the other 3. Old Mals are really to that much fun if you ask me. Can be enjoyable for a little while but there is a reason they were super seeded. Why not instead just have the benefits of an old mal design but with new age twitches? Joy all round then

SP - a mate sent me this link the other day - he was looking at one of these. I just about fell over !

True true, I want an old school tank, rode one recently on a really small day and was super fun. I find the Hot Log doesn't like real small/slow waves, it kinda gets unstable and doesn't walk so good. That's its only weakness for me.

The evoII is a performance LB, and sorry, but I'm just not into that. If a waves are more for performance LB I'll take out the 7' Bobsled or the SubX

Been looking at a Takayama Model T or a Bing Levitator. I might also talk to SDR and see if he can shape me a more traditional log. I also emailed Josh Constable about a week ago but he hasn't even responded soooo

Edit : creative army just emailed me back, very interesting

hotlog goes great but I think its a specialists noseriding board- guys that a sh1t hot at nose riding

that doesn't mean its not good for anything else, in fact as a small wave getter its almost unbeatable

Totally, was surfing these throaty head highs today and everyone was like, "I can't believe you're dropping in on these on a 10' and making it" and made everything, she went amazing today, so stoked... And I do agree she's more for experienced nose riders, the boards actually quite narrow through the nose and quite thin throughout. It's kinda a performance Log which outperforms my 9'6" and 9'2" in every way...

Been put back as I need a shorty. I didn't need a hotlog. I was being greedy, the shorty is a priority. Hardly on my longboards sadly thinking about getting 4'10 666 for some shredding fun

There’s a beautiful 9’8 Creative Army board for sale up this way Andy. But the spray might be a bit subdued for you …

Shame the Noosa 66 is right up there in price, I had one of the first ones(#4) and it was very stable...shame shame..sorry I sold it...but a bit too much board for a lightweight.

I agree - but like anything JB its whether or not you need it at the time ! Like when you say to yr chick - where did she get that ? and she responds "yeah but it was a bargain - 40% off" and all you can think is yes maybe but (A) was the price too high to start with and (B) did you really need it?

Nice looking board as SP says - definitely would fit well in the Jas shed. Is that a Lady of Many Colours creation Chrispy / Vanders ?
