Separately, on of my all time funny Christmas Surfing stories is;

A plumber on The Northern Beaches, Sydney was doing some work under a house at Palm Beach. Afterwards, he asked the oldish Jewish Lady if she was interested in selling the old single fins surfboards under the house... Her response, "Oh, I forgot about them, they were Christmas presents for the boys back in 1977!"...

Sadly, she wouldn't sell them! The were unridden!

Simondo that story reminds me of a plumber mate of mine.
last year he was at a job and noticed that their next door neighbours had a surf board in a carport that looked the same as one he had stollen from under his house 20somthing years ago.
he walked over and inspected the board,, yep it had his name on the stringer.
when he told me he was angry and thinking of going back and taking the board back…but he didn't.

Yeah wouldn't that stir some emotions!

Would've been hard to not go back for sure.
