hanging out for autumn. its either off shore all day or blowing south.

is there anything better- waters still warm and glassy conditions and nice swells.

and its generally better a little later in the morning= sleep in.

must be the sun coming up or warm air meeting cold air. i don't know but it's generally better at 8 or so than at 6 am

generally it's all wonky early in autumn/winter, the sun comes up, a little later it's glassy.

it's a trap for 'young players' thinking they have to surfing early in autumn/winter.

been there and done that. by the time you drive around, stuff around, you go back to the place you first looked at and its cooking.

save ya petrol money boofy

^^Yep the reason the surfs better when you get back to your original spot you first checked is cause the tides dropped a foot and the banks working

have it your way boys- surf early surf messy.

its already happening at the alley this weekend.

the only way to beat it is wear miners lamps.

ps let me tell you something. when i worked up in the snow in summer the sun would start to come up and the wind would start blowing strong.come 7.30, 8.00 oclock- not a breath of wind- beautiful day

i've talked to fisho's about it and they agree- it cleans up later

Yeah funny that one.

You could poke holes in his posts all day but in the end why bother? He discredits himself enough already without anybody having to help.

i am afraid of the cold, but for some stupid reason a get up early in the dark and paddle in the dark with feet going numb in the dark 3 times a week in winter
