OMG For you blokes that don't know.
Brownie or Greg Brown is a bloody LEGEND. And has been mowing foam since I was a mini grom.
He spent a lot of time shaping with another Legend called Wayne Lynch
Brownie is a true waterman and has cut his teeth into some of the biggest swells that southern vicco has thrown up in the last 30 years or so.
In his later years he has done very well for himself in the LB seen as a shaper and a competitor.
When I was a grom I can remember seeing these two charging 15 -20+ foot plus madness at spots I won't name.
If someone can add more info to this please do, but as long back as I can remember these guys were shaping under the brand Roar and then some time in the late 80's early 90's they started Gash.
I can't remember all to well as I was like 10 or 11 at the time, But Nicky Wood won bells around the same time I started Grommethood.
And Piping hot was still a Major player.
