I am a noodle.

So freaking tired my whole body feels like it is a cooked noodle.

Had the best waves I have had in a long time today. 3-4ft lefts breaking for 100-250m and offshore in the morning surf, onshore but clean faces in the midday surf, and calm offshores in the evening.

On the long and short all surfs, second surf was great on the mal, so many wicked hang tens and fives along with some good hard turns. Shorty was unreal! Some great snaps and waves were great for big open faces carves.

Tonight it was just me Dad and another of our friends where for over an hour, clean waves and warm water. Not to mention a warm day and a beautiful sunset to top it all off!!

Best day I have had for a long time. Now I am a noodle.

So now I have had my share, anyone else had good waves?

I'm generally only in rubber for about 3 months, July through September or August through October. Current suit is a 3 x 2 xcel and it's way too hot for me. Picked up a Peak short john from the salvo's for $15 a few months back and I reckon that with one of those Radiator type vests it will see me through this winter.
Mind you where I surf is a hell of a lot warmer than Perth, one overcast rainy, session last August or September I actually had to get out of my steamer and surf in boardies the water was so warm.

True true!

If asea headed down here, he would get why Tasmanians love it here. Such good waves ad no crowds! Something you mainlanders will never get!

I did a trip to WA in 2010 and I remember getting in a spring suit then getting out and into boardies straight away!

TC - why were you not at school? If you ever want to leave Tassie and yr wetsuit behind to explore the other States and o/s then you need to nail yr year 12 - get with the program or there will be no more help with yr homework

Farkn jealous mate, sounds like the sort of day that we all dream of, a week of those days would fine tune your surfing tenfold. Always good to make the most of waves when you got them.

Yeah it is hey! Well worth the noodleness! I love having two boards to ride there though, it is so much fun on both!!

If anything, it looks like I will have many more days like this in the coming months, coming right into surf season now!!!
