The point wasnt working but a little bank just a bit along the beach had some lefts. Very strange feeling to be going the other way for a change.

Were you at OMP ? You can go left there at times.

I went left once at a particular right hand break. The ensuing set of waves and white water pounding me for the next 30 minutes (I swear it took me that long!) of struggling and giving up ensured I never went left again. Needless to say when I got back to the line up, the local oldies had a good laugh and told me 'thats why you don't go left'

I really feel for you Stu - tough times aye!! You are sounding more like Simondo everyday I have made my NYR resolution this year to down tools and hit the road for some right hand point break action as soon as conditions present themselves once Feb is upon us and the majority are back from their holidays. I will probably have to drop by yr way on the way north so look out

Well done I did the same at snaps last week.

I found some nice rights yesterday evening....shame there were a few punters in the water who thought they were too cool for school and snaking and dropping in. I was tempted to let the air out of their tyres when I came in............
