Sure we all got to work but for the last couple of months the weekends have offered two things. One rain,Two no waves.

Today its Monday and what do you know, its a picture perfect day still no swell but Wednesday Thursday are looking good.

I'll lay money on the table come the weekend the same old pattern will return, yep rain and no waves.

I know some of you guys like BB and asea work shift work, but come on a little sharing would be nice.

Anyway, everyone have a super Christmas and thanks for putting up with me crap this year.

Dont worry old man - tom and I got a couple for you this morning. Not nearly as good as yesterday but quite satisfactory all the same. Did I mention how good yesterday was Tom is still frothing about it - reckons it was one of his all time fave sessions - even if he had to share it with 3 mates on sups By the way are you doing malfunction ?

Yes mate - I think 23-27 March. Asea reckons the over 40s may be on the friday so that'll work for me. I am only doing it cos they have pro judges and I hate judging and its the main reason I don't do many comps - really really really hate judging. Just hope theres not a big swell event cos it gets bloody nasty down there as you know.

I wish mate, just returned from a boys trip to Bali on Thursday morning after the hour drive from the airport I showered and popped into work to say hi to the wife.Dressed in thongs t-shirt and shorts I see they missed the man power and ended up spending the next nine hours moving stock.Friday added the finishing touches,up and down ladders all day,but dam it looked good by end of day.

Today a 40 foot high cube container arrived 8am and was unloaded and stored by midday.

So there was no calling off Monday for this duck, one week off and I need another two weeks to catch up.

BTW,was that you in the black HI tee from the 8 mile paddle yesterday?
I have a black and red version from 07,did you go recently or was it an on-line purchase?Great shirt.

Yeah Mac, that was me in the "HI" Tee. I think I bought that in 2008 over there. I have a white one too.

I have a big Naish 17 for open water paddling and general cruising. I can always find a place to paddle when there's no surf !

We overseas now too. Caught the ferry yesterday arvo from Queenscliff to Sorrento !!
