Depends what it is for, what you used etc. you can buy some quick dry stuff at Bunnings which goes off real quick. Used it for my shaping stands.

7-10 days.

But depending on what you are using it for 24 hrs is usually ok.

so 3 weeks means its good to go,its been a month almost,just helping a friend out.
so the more water he adds will only make the wait longer?

Yeah should be good to go after 3 weeks.

If it was a really wet mix it might take a bit longer then 7 days but 3 weeks should be pretty well cured.

Maximum strength is after about a month but after a week or so it should be pretty hard.

So he poured it 3 weeks ago?

And it hasn't gone off?

That doesn't sound good.. Should be able to walk on it after a day or 2 and build on it after 7.

gee thanks cmc I'll pass this onto my friend,his current go easy style has not worked.maybe he needs to harden up.

28 days to get to full strength.... but usually gets there in 14 or 21 days .

if extra water is added it may never get there .....

its like baking a cake ...
