Maybe I should direct this post to Mac62 as I know you like your Rum!

I'm not really a Rum drinker but just picked up a bottle of Bundy Red. I've tried recreating a Dark & Stormy that I had last weekend but it's a bit like the KFC secret reciepe. The closest I've come is ginger beer and a dash of coke. Not exactly the same but still very nice.

I'm willling to try any other suggestions

I only drink the standard original with diet coke no ice.

Why,many years ago I had a bet with a mate,the deal was
whoever losers 10 kgs first wins a hundred bucks.
After not drinking for three weeks another mate mentioned
one Friday night drink it with diet coke and it stick,won the bet as well

On the no ice, a few years back,I was out and had too much to drink
and had a go at the barman for ripping me off,filling the class full of ice and
not much left to drink,so that stuck and many years later its no ice and diet coke
I cant drink rum with normal coke it tastes like sh-t.

Not into any other rum other than Bundy and not keen on Red or OP

I agree, standard Bundy is best but with coke zero. The cans are OK but not strong enough.

I did have a Golden Retriever for 14 years and his was Bear, he looked like a Polar Bear as a pupthe next dog that came into the house,I wanted to name him Bundy but I was out voted on that one

Hmmm used to hammer the OP 6 packs, good old purple death.

Now its standard for a double shot in a glass of ice with coke to top it up. Nice way to spend a lazy arvo with good friends. I actually tried the bundy red a few weeks ago, really smooth and tasty

I managed to score a limited edition bottle for my birthday last year, lasted about a week! It was to comemmorate the factory nearly burning down yonks ago and surviving from memory, could be wrong but I think that was the theme.

I have been a bundy lover for years, cant stand boubon.

i drank it stronger and stonger so now i jsut have it straight up on ice. MMMMMM rum......

They are not making it any more :( But managed to bring 4 1125ml bottles back from Fiji :)
Ice, Lime, good slug o Silver and top up with Bundy ginger beer. All good :)

I would say it really depends on the rum your buying.

Mount Gay amber- Tonic, coke or Ting if you can find it

Mount Gay dark - coke

Bundy - Coke

Captain Mortgans (dark or spiced)- fruit juice

White rum - Long Island Ice Tea (YEAH BABY) really it's all it's good for

Appltetons - Coke

there's other in there I just can't remember the names - there's a reason for that.
