Hi guys,

Thought I'd share my new baby with you.

Picked her up Friday and rode her yesterday.

So so nice.

Check out the pics and deats on Steller:

Yesterday's session below, she was silky smooth and felt perfect - always something special about the first surf on a new board !

Thanks Steve,

A guy in the Wollongong area asked Shane as a long term customer whether there was any way he could help get a Hobie in Oz.

Long story short, Shane ended up sewing up an agreement with Hobie last year to have some boards sent shaped to him and ready for finish coat, polish & fin at his Wollongong factory.

The boards are still shaped in the US, tinted, glassed etc and are works of art.

There are some currently in transit but I have no idea what shapes are coming out.

The previous boards consisted of the Vintage and Retro Classic Model.

Here's a couple of other's prepped by Shane - the off white one is a Vintage Model and was AMAZING; the green tint board in the second image is similar to mine and also a Retro Classic which lives down Lakes Entrance way (Photo's taken at Lorne in Vicco).

Maybe contact Shane to ask what he's got coming or what he could order - I waited 3 months for mine to come through which I wouldn't usually do but man, so worth the wait.
