Your dreaming young TC.

I love Tassie and have been to Hobarttown on numerous occasions. But one thing I have never seen is any waves.

They must be kept in secret locations.

ET, there are waves around Hobart, but not immediately in Hobart!

Teacake, yep my Mum used to live over there, and I have surfed there a bit over Summer. Mainly surfed that right-hander, just over the hill, from The Wedge...? And the Wedge... Been ages, forgotten the names! South Arm area, near Betsey Island.

Had plenty of waist high days out at The Righthander. Really fun little wave actually!

Surfed at Clifton a few times, but not very memorable!

Hahaha , TBH I witnessed more brother / sister/cousin relationships in Qld then in Tassie (not including the west coast )

was reading there was a bit of swell around today on the south and west coasts , flat as here should go for a drive but seriously lacking motivation .

Should be nice over on carlton beach today where the PBBR are having there monthly comp . If you are close Tom should duck around and meet 2MT , Riverrider , Cruisen and all the crew , top bunch . Hoping to get down to next months if all goes to plan .

Could say that Pup , bit of a history in Launceston of the hawks giving the kangaroos a flogging , another example of the northern Tassie team kicking the team from down south up the butt . Even without buddy I reckon the hawks are looking good for another premiership year .. Would like to see Majak in a Hawks jersey . He is going to be some player in a few years .

Definitely not including the west aye TD?

You in Launnie? I just came down here for the weekend from Launceston

Planning to do it a bit this year, just go where the surf is good on weekends but most of the time I will just go home to the East Coast

I am on the northwest Tom , tend to head west most of the time so don't get to the east coast or south that much .was hoping to get down to Hobart next month for the park beach board riders comp but I think the next one is on the long weekend so can't make it , bit of a bummer

Do you surf Dev River much? Good fun!

The long weekend, I am heading over for the comp that weekend, should be good fun!

Favourite break on the west? Mine is either Greens or the left in the rip at lighthouse, Sooo much fun!

Good news because of the west coast classic the PBBR comp has been pushed back to the following weekend .Long weekend I am booked in for some camping and trout fishing so no surfing that weekend . Will be pissed if it's pumping .

Favourite spots for me - Midpoint , Penguin Reef , Fairylands and a few spots over around Stanley .

Mango? Bit of a weird fetish there pup...

Ah 4/3? Are you nuts? Haha Na 4/3 is good for most people in winter, but a good 4/3 as you mention. Personally, I am all bone so I am in a 5/4/3 fully sealed billabong suit in the winter but for you guys with a bit of blubber a 4/3 is fine. 3/2s in summer. If you come down to Tassie, shoot us a message and I will show you the places to go mate, so many fanastic uncrowded waves!
