Can someone tell me if I'm right.
i was playing a game of golf at Barwon heads and from there, can you can see 13 beach?
I thought it was , anyhow the surf was pumping . I even thought of leaving the course and grabbing the board but payed a **** load to play , one of those moments you want to be in two places at the same time.

Yeah, thats 13th.......

I lived there for 5/6yrs. The place picks up a heap of swell.
Best waves of my life have been there...

easily double overhead barrels and I do mean easily .
Vicco is a great surf spot.

The reason you were in the right place Cobra is the surf may have looked tempting but there could have been an underlying danger. ie,A big bag of teeth

some big munchies around seal rock.

I don't want to start a shark debate...but, In 25 yrs+ surfing and diving 13th, and much of the Vicco coast, I've seen 4 small sharks.

It's not an issue down this way for most guys.....The only time we have a shark problem here is when the media says we do.....!! It starts on Boxing day every year & ends once the kids have gone back to school. School holidays start again at the end of March,.....

That's true mate,it was in my head when there where a few local attacks here but it's gone now,I couldn't give a sh1t now,whatever will be will be!

I'm not speaking after the last "click" or "bang"

Hi all been a while, picked up a new 9'1 as wanted bigger board for certain breaks. it's a 9'1 trigger innovator same design as the 8 but bigger with different tail. went the fin box as I also like to ride as a single. the fin is a 8more of a flow style i guess but it still turns nicley. had to keep the art going

we've been lucky in Vicco had a some decent swell keeping western port and flinders going. late September had 10 day's at the GC had some nice sessions at Kirra and greenmount on my dad's 9'1 love 2 - 3 foot kirra perferct mal wave .

enjoying having a 9 back in the mix. it's 9'1 by 22-1/4 by 3 inch paddles and turns well and nose rides quite well for a 50/50 perfromance mal.
