Hey Ted,
I have posted a few pics in other threads of Moreton it was fantastic mate we camped at Northpoint which is next to cape Moreton, the surf was fantastic day 1 it was probably 3 to 4 foot at Yellowpatch the set up is pretty similar to snapper greenmount with out the crowd and rocks in between, the waves break parallel to the beach and actually sort of head out to sea, and you can get 200 to 300 meter rides.
The surf was pretty consistent most days dying down to a foot as we were leaving. I didnt get any photos of the surf as i went on my own most mornings and didnt take my camera with me. If you go make the effort to camp at Northpoint but you need a 4wd half the adventure is getting there and you have to take everything with you. We will be going again at least once this year its paradise

I am gonna work my arse off this year and all going well I will have a 6 meter boat by the end of the year as the ideal thing to do is leave from Brissy and go to Moreton for weekends diving and surfing camping out of the boat.
When I told Chrispy my story today I was looking for a bit of sympathy should have known better
