Heading to Melbourne tonight for a bit of a holiday for a week. Have some friends who live near Melbourne who have friends in Torquay. We are gonna stay at Lorne a couple of nights hopfully get a wave.

Anyone know of board hire place around there, Im sure there will be a few just dont know where to start? Would have loved to tkae the F/B over but its in the shop

Hopefully will get to see a bit of Bells action as well. Going to the G tomorrow night for the first time as well. Hope the bombers cause an upset

Just got back from Victoria last night and I must say that I was very impressed with the coast line.

Also ended up seeing 2 games at the G, that is definately how every sports stadium should be built and run!

Got to surf Gunnamata, Lorne and Torquay. Only got a chance to jump on a longboard at Torquay when I could hire a 9'0 BIC. Managed to get a few on a mates 7'0 fish at Gunnamatta which was fun.

Gunnamatta was really fun as was Torquay, Lorne didnt get much swell but I have been told that they all get plenty of swell in Winter.

Got a few but they probably dont do the spots justice, they were taken by the missus from a fair way. I will have a look at them on the computer and see if I can put them on.

There would be so many spots along that road, you could spend a long time exploring
