I borrowed a certainer breezers board and when I was waxing I noticed there was no wax the last 6 inches from the nose.

I wax the nose ,not that I get right up there much

Didn't take long for the fish to bit lacey

My Occasional Pin isn't really a nose rider, and I leave the wax about 2 feet short of the nose! LoL!... Occasionally 1 foot will be off the wax, on small days...

It's not called the "Sunny hoax" for no reason.

Moffatts. Seen it about double head. I paddled out to the reef. It was bigger. I couldn't make a drop. The longboards at Moffatts put me off. They were doing okay.

Anyway, on topic, I haven't hung ten yet and every time I get near the nose I worry about digging it in and losing the plot and wasting a wave. I mean I am only 6-8 inches from the tip, but it just freaks me out.

I need a cup of toughen up.
